  • When are your classes?

    Our classes are scheduled to coincide with the State Exam Dates. You can see our schedule for the upcoming classes at our CLASS SCHEDULE page.

  • How long are your classes?

    Our classes vary in length. Continuing education classes can be scheduled to meet the number of hours needed. Typically we offer 7-8 hours per day on weekends. The exam prep classes are conveniently scheduled to minimize disruption to your regular workdays. See our CLASS SCHEDULE for various contractor licenses to see the days scheduled for your exam preparation.

  • Do you guarantee that I pass my test?

    If you utilize the tools, knowledge and information we provide you should be successful. If for some reason you need to re-take a piece of the exam you can return and retake the next consecutive course if you do not pass the first time.

  • Are the books included in your Full Course price?

     NO, Books are additional costs.

  • How soon should I sign up?

    As soon as possible. We offer limited seating, which will go fast!

  • Are your classes offered in Spanish?

     

    Our classes our taught in English only at this time.

  • Will you be adding any other contractor types?

    If you are looking to attain a General, Builders, or Residential Contractor License; Underground Utility Contractor License; Commercial, Residential, or Pool Service Contractor License in the State of Florida then we are the school you need to attend.

  • Will you be adding any other contractor types?

     

    A-Plus Construction School will soon be adding Roofing and Plumbing.

  • What do I need to do to apply for the exam?

     

    You must apply for the exam 30 days prior to the exam date. We recommend doing it much earlier since exam dates are selling out. Check our schedule page for exam dates. [link needed] Then go to our forms page for a link to register for the exam. YOU MUST DO THIS ON YOUR OWN! REGISTERING FOR OUR CLASSES DOES NOT REGISTER YOU FOR THE EXAM!

  • How many students are in each class?

     

    A-Plus Construction School is not like the majority of prep-exam schools in Florida. We do not squeeze as many contractors as possible into a class making it difficult for you to get the attention your questions deserve. We limit our seating for each class.  Make sure you sign up now before all of the seats are taken!

  • Do I need to live in Florida?

     

    No, there are no residency requirements for you to activate your license. You must be able to work in Florida and/or the United States.

  • Do you have a Home Study Course?

    Not at this time. Look for this in the near future.

  • Where can I learn about the exam and if I qualify?

    Current State of Florida qualifications can be viewed on their website.
